The Gee Gees
is a 3 reel, one payline,
and one coin fruit machine game with a
disco-themed bonus game and multiple Nudge and Hold features to test your skill.
The Gee Gees is similar to other Microgaming's fruit machine games like
Treasure Ireland or Who wants to be a Stallionaire. However,
players on the Gee Gees have a chance to hit relatively high top jackpot of 2000x of the original bet amount with 3
Disco Balls on the payline.
You'll see the classic bars, sevens, horse shoes and cherry symbols, as well as Melons and Disco Balls on the reels.
The Gee Gees is a tribute to the trio brother's once famous music band called the "Bee Gees".
So the name of this game is similar to the famous band. The superb disco music
of the "Bee Gees" during the late 60's - early 70's are played on the background
and the whole fruit machine seems to dance with this rhythm. Even the bonus feature light flashes to the tune of the music.
The Gee Gees has a random Nudge feature which enables you to bump a reel to display the next symbol
in order to make a winning combination. This feature is random
though, which adds to the excitement of playing this fruit machine.
You can win up to 4 reel nudges at a time.
There is also a chance that your nudges will be repeated, but again this occurs randomly.
The Gee Gees' Hold feature
is random and enables player to hold up to 3 reels in the
same position for the next spin. When the Hold feature activates, the 'Hold' buttons display below each reel.
When you hold a reel and click 'Spin' button the reel you hold does not spin thus giving you a better chance of winning.
The Gee Gees Disco Dancefloor Bonus Game
Any win on the reels or the Reel bonus games activate the Disco Dancefloor bonus game.
The bonus game consists of a trail made up of 20 game squares with its own features.
Once the Disco Dancefloor bonus game is activated, you can reach the various features by clicking the 'Spin' button.
You progress along the bonus trail by continuing to spin the bonus reel.
If you land on a mystery square, additional features activate. If you reveal the booby prize, the game ends and
you lose all accumulated prizes. Each time you land on a feature, it is added to your pot. If you land on a
feature position, you can either collect that feature, or continue playing to try to land on a more valuable feature.
The Disco Dancefloor bonus game squares are: Multi-Add, Feature, ?, Cash and Nudge Stack. There are also
following random bonus features:
- Do the Hustle is a reel-based feature and guarantees a random win on the reels.
- Night Diva is a stop and win feature where you can win up to a 2000x multiplier value on your bet.
- You Win Again and Hot to Trot are stop and win features that are played on the Payout Table Trail.
- Money Money Money and Prancing Yeah! are pick-a-win features.
- Le Freak, Hot Stuff and Reel Like Dancing are reel-based features.
- The Gee Gees is a guaranteed jackpot win feature where you
win a 2000x multiplier value on your bet. The Repeater is a random feature that enables you to win
additional prize after a Gee Gees jackpot win.
