What was your initial reaction to your big win?
I could not believe I had won the jackpot. At first I just thought someone else had won. Then I realized it was me and I let out a whoop that attracted the whole house. Everyone came running to see what all the excitement was about. I just sat there looking at all the flashing lights and letting it sink in. Then of course I did what everyone would do. I went to the withdrawal section and sent some funds to my bank. Of course, I left plenty in my casino account to continue to play.
How do you plan on spending your winnings?
I have a bill or two to pay off. The rest I am saving for our trip to San Francisco in the fall. It will be a lot better trip with the extra money I will have to take with me.
What advice do you have for others?
My grandmother raised me. She always said that no matter where you go or what you do, just remember you always have to face yourself in the mirror every day!
What do you do for good luck?
I can't say that I really do anything special for luck. I usually play late at night or early in the morning. I don't usually play during the day.
What is your dream holiday destination?
I have always wanted to go to Australia. It won't happen this year, unless I win Major Millions, which I am working on... thanks to the little extra I kept in my account from the Jackpot.
Is there anything else you would like to tell us about yourself?
I am happily married for 25 years. I have two daughters and 5 grandchildren. My husband and I travel for the company we both work for and my oldest grandchildren come for a visit when they are out of school in the summer. We get to see a lot of the US this way. Winning the jackpot makes it a lot easier to go, see and do all the wonderful sights around us.
