Did anything unusual happen on the day of your win?
I was tired, and waiting for my son's TV program to be over so that I could tuck him and go to bed.
What was your initial reaction to your big win?
I froze! I have never won a jackpot...ever...and I left the screen where it was and woke up my husband!
How do you plan on spending your winnings?
I am a cancer patient, as well as have 2 boys in college. 'Nuff said. I will also donate to our church, as they have been so supportive of our family.
What advice do you have for others?
I want for nothing, and am grateful for everything. I have everything I need, and a little extra money is always nice, but it is not what makes my life rich.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I read my bible, as well as inspirational books. I love to write in my journal, play with our dogs and relax with our cat. I am planning on home-schooling my 10 year old son starting this year, which I never got the opportunity to do with my 2 oldest sons. I have worked all my life, and am on total disability from my job now. I also want to teach him sign language.
What 3 things would you take with you on a deserted island?
My bible, my journal and my hearing aids (I am deaf).
What is your goal in life?
To live simply and simply live.
Is there anything else you would like to tell us about yourself?
I am a 47 year old female, married with 3 boys. I have worked for Delta Air Lines for 21 years. I like peace, calm, serenity and to live simply. Life is too short to not enjoy every single day.
